Payment information We do not store, process or have access to your full card number. Payments are processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal and other providers shown at checkout). We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, the payment method type, and the last four digits of your card for order identification and refunds.

Custom design and artwork submissions Because we make custom signs, you may send us:

Artwork, logos, images, sketches or files you upload
Text, wording, spelling and font choices you enter into our sign builder
Color, size, mounting and finish selections
Notes, references and inspiration images you send us
Approval or rejection of digital proofs

3. Your custom artwork and design files

This section applies specifically to designs, logos, images and text you submit to us.

What we do with your artwork

We use it solely to design, proof and manufacture your sign
We store it while your order is in production and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can reproduce, repair or replace your sign under warranty
We share it with our manufacturing partners strictly as needed to make your sign

What we do not do

We do not sell your artwork
We do not license your artwork to third parties
We do not add your custom design to our public catalogue for other customers to buy

Showing your sign in our portfolio We may photograph a finished sign and show it in our gallery, website or social media. If you do not want your sign shown, email info@fineystneon.com and we will remove it and note your preference on your account.

Your responsibility You confirm that you own the rights to any artwork, logo, text or image you send us, or have permission to use it. We may refuse or cancel any order where we believe the submitted content infringes someone else's rights or is unlawful, and we will refund you in full if we do.

Deleting your files You can ask us to delete your uploaded artwork at any time after your order is complete. Email info@fineystneon.com. Note that if you later need a repair or replacement, we may no longer be able to reproduce your exact sign.

4. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only with the following categories of recipient, and only as needed:

Strictly necessary — keep you logged in, remember your cart, process checkout and keep the site secure. These cannot be switched off.

Performance and analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site, which pages convert and where people drop off.

Functional — remember your language, currency, region and sign builder selections.

Advertising and targeting — allow us and our advertising partners to show you relevant ads and measure whether they worked.

Managing cookies You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of our site, including checkout and the sign builder, from working.

If you are visiting from the EU or the UK, you will see a consent banner and we will not set non-essential cookies until you agree.

Do Not Track Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, as there is no industry standard for how to interpret them.

8. Marketing communications

We will only send you marketing emails or texts if you have opted in, or if you have bought from us and we are contacting you about similar products.

Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages — order confirmations, proof approvals, shipping notifications and warranty communications. You will continue to receive those while your order is active.

How to exercise your rights Email info@fineystneon.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on the request, to protect your account.

If you are in the EU or UK You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We would ask you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

If you are in California You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

10. Children's privacy

Our website and products are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@fineystneon.com and we will delete it.

11. Security

We protect your information using SSL encryption across our site, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing, restricted internal access to customer records, and secure storage of design files with our manufacturing partners.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.

Our site may link to other websites, including social media platforms and payment providers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit from ours.
