Shipping & Turnaround
At Fineyst Neon, every sign is built to order. Our production schedule is structured to protect craftsmanship without holding up your delivery, and we keep you informed at each stage. This page explains how we calculate turnaround, when the clock starts, and what can move it.
Shipping is free in US, UK, Canada on all orders.
1. Estimated Turnaround
Turnaround is made up of two separate stages: production, and transit. The figures below are working days.

Most customers receive their sign within two to three weeks of approving their proof. Estimates are given in good faith and cover manufacturing and delivery, but remain subject to order specification and logistics.
2. When Your Lead Time Begins
Your production lead time starts on the next working day after we have received both of the following:
- Full and confirmed payment
- Final design approval, including all specifications
Until both are in place, your order sits in the queue rather than in production. This is the single most common source of unexpected delay, and the easiest to avoid.
3. What Affects Your Timeline
Type of sign. LED neon signs are the quickest to produce, from six working days. Illuminated business signage, large-format pieces and multi-part installations require additional fabrication and quality checking.
Design confirmation. We begin production only after final approval. Time spent reviewing proofs is time added to your delivery date.
Payment status. Production starts once full payment has been received and verified.
Production image approval. Before your sign ships, we photograph the finished piece and send it to you for sign-off. Prompt confirmation keeps your order moving.
Shipping method. Air freight delivers within the 6-12 business day window above. Sea freight is more economical on large or bulk orders but can add several weeks, particularly on international routes.
Order complexity. Bulk quantities, special finishes and unusual customisations may extend standard lead times. We will always tell you at quotation stage if your order falls outside the normal window.
4. Shipping Methods & Tracking
All shipments are sent through established carriers including UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS. The carrier is selected by destination and by the size and fragility of your sign.
You will receive tracking details by email as soon as your order is dispatched. If tracking has not arrived within 24 hours of your dispatch notification, contact us and we will resend it.
Expedited air freight is available at additional cost on most routes. Ask us before you order and we will quote it alongside your sign.
5. Duties, Taxes & Customs
Shipping is free in US, UK, Canada. Import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees are set by the destination country and are not included in your order total.
International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes and customs charges imposed under their own country's regulations. These are payable directly to the carrier or the customs authority, and are outside our control. Customs inspection can also add time to a shipment, and such delays fall outside our published estimates.
6. Delivery Addresses & Returned Packages
Please check your shipping address carefully before completing your order. We ship to the address supplied at checkout.
Where a package is returned to us because the address was incorrect or incomplete, or because delivery was refused or went unclaimed, the customer is responsible for the additional shipping cost required to send it out again.
If you notice an error in your address, contact us immediately at info@fineystneon.com. We can usually correct it before dispatch.
7. Rush Orders
If you are working to a fixed date an opening, an event, a launch tell us before you order. We can often prioritise production and upgrade shipping to meet a deadline, and we would rather quote you honestly than miss it.
8. Working Days
Working days exclude weekends and public holidays observed at our production and dispatch locations. An order approved on a Friday afternoon begins its lead time on the following Monday.
